I share this Airbnb apartment that has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms in the heart of Madrid. It has just been renovated and I'm quite happy with how it looks, but also how comfortable it is for short and long stays. Full kitchen, comfortable sofas and very spacious rooms for up to 4 people. Besides being in the center (between Lavapies and Sol) it is a very quiet apartment because the street is small with no bars at night. The space. It has a very modern kitchen, ideal to have a good meal at home if you want a quiet night off from visiting Madrid and eating out. As for the decoration, I think I have managed to combine a nice look with very comfortable furniture to spend a good time at home and rest after visiting the city. Both bathrooms are fully equipped and there are plenty of closets to store all your belongings so you can enjoy all the space without stuff in the way (this is something I appreciate when I travel). Amenities and common areas. The apartment is on Calle Escuadra, a small street next to Calle Lavapiés, one of the most Spanish-Madrilenian areas with many bars and restaurants (multi-cuisine + very traditional restaurants for a local beer or vermouth, ask me if you need any recommendations). Walking distance to the main hotspots: Lavapies, Latina, Sol, Barrio de las Letras, Gran Via. All these areas are within 15 minutes walking distance (even less). The building is also very quiet. Other highlights. The apartment does not allow pets, parties or noise after 10.30 pm out of respect for the neighbors in order to maintain a good atmosphere among all.
